I examine the hidden artifacts between physical and digital territories and their connection to our own neurological and cultural limitations when communicating with each other.

Scott Jones

My practice sits at the convergence of design, technology and science, investigating how unknown data (noise) might build future public forums. I examine the hidden artifacts between physical and digital territories and their connection to our own neurological and cultural limitations when communicating with each other.

I do this by producing immersive experiences that recycle hidden tech processes and platforms to produce eye-burning, ear-splitting and chest-pounding combinations of images, sounds and haptics – of noise. By tuning out what we think we understand, we navigate and make sense of this noise together, flattening out our pre-set behaviours and transforming future collaboration into horizons of possibility.

This art practice sits adjacent to my extensive career as a creative director, conceiving, designing and delivering creative solutions for international tech companies, the music industry and cultural arts initiatives. I do this through my own client relationships, as a creative consultant for design agencies and through short-term design contracts.

I am now looking to collaborate with clients that bring together these two worlds, developing immersive experiences that combine thought-provoking experiences with commercial communication.
